Luxury FULL Sized Vintage Chenille Bedspread, European Style Boxed & Fitted Design (WILL NOT fit a Queen)COLOR: Lemon chiffon yellow background with white chenille tufting in a dense, elongated diamond design. Puffy contrast white tufting is acrylic, creating a unique dimensional appearance.
DESIGN: Scattered star/asterisk motifs (small 4-6 point bursts) are sprinkled across the surface, with interlocking scroll work that creates a busy, lace-like texture.
SIZING: This chenille bedspread features a Euro style design, where it is shaped to the mattress rather than just draped flat: there's a fitted, tailored fit over the corners and the sides drop down into a separate pleated/gathered skirt panel (visible as the plain ribbed chenille "curtain" hanging below the patterned top).
That tailored top plus integrated skirt is a "boxed and fitted" construction (sometimes called a "European" or "tailored" spread style) as opposed to a one-piece throw spread that you'd just pull up and over with loose corners. It presents as a nice, unique fit versus a common coverlet.
Measures 54"W x 82"L across top, with a 19"L skirt. Shown both on a twin bed and outdoors.
CONDITION: Original bedspread from the 1960s era. All our linens are in pre-loved vintage condition showing normal attributes of previous life (i.e.. missing tufts, color variations, vintage scents, age marks, etc.) All are laundered/stored near fragranced products.
