This is an exquisite, handmade antique chenille bedspread in a delightful scalloped shell pop design that resembles a whimsical depiction of ocean waves. The deeper shade of blue pops contrasts with the serene lake blue cotton groundcloth and sweet white pops for a stunning display.This is an heirloom vintage linen from a local lakeside estate, where it had been in the family for over 80 years. It dates to the late 1930s. Pom pom trim accents the drop sides, which also offer a gentle scallop design.
Full size, 86"W x 96"L + pom pom trim that is just over 1" or so. These msmts are only approx, given the scallop edge design.
