This is a piece of vintage mid-century barkcloth fabric in a shabby, bold, large-scale tropical floral print. Oversized pink ginger or torch ginger blooms in exotic shades are paired with dramatic gray stylized elephant ears, all set against a striking chartreuse/yellow ground with deep green tropical foliage.The scale and palette are classic of the Hawaiian-influenced barkcloth designs that became so popular in American homes after WWII.
