This vintage chenille bedspread has a soft buttery yellow cotton bkgd with dense creamy-white tufting. The contrast gives it a warm, sunny "glow".The pattern is a sprawling all-over design of radiating, starburst-like medallions with curving scalloped arcs, where tightly packed rows of small tufts form the outlines and larger fluffy pom-pom clusters fill the spaces between them.
The tufts appear plump and well-preserved. Long accent fringe along the edge adds to the classic mid-century feel.
