Rare Vintage Gunne Sax Skirt & Crop Top Coordinating SetThis listing is for a gorgeous vintage Gunne Sax maxi skirt with front velvet accent panel in a rich brown calico print, and a coordinating crop top with lace trim and pretty embroidery. I purchased this set about 35 years ago and have no knowledge whether it was an original matched set or not - whatever the case, it's lovely.
SUMMARY:
1) Maxi length skirt with back button and zipper. Original Gunne Sax tag, fabric content also listed. Measures about 24" waist at maximum and 40.5"L. Estimated modern size XXS at best. Cotton, quality weight fabric as expected for this brand.
2) Crop top blouse. No closure. Pull on. Original Gunne Sax tag. Measures about 36" bust and 14.5" long (VERY SHORT). The sleeves measure 22" long, including the lace trim. Note: this has been in storage for decades and the muslin-type fabric shows some areas of storage/age discoloration. I've tried to capture this in bright light - whether or not it's obvious, it is present in person. Lace may have minor separations.
