This listing is for a lot of 6 (six) vintage 1970s era prairie dresses AND 5 cloth tags for study or restoration. 3 are tagged Gunne Sax; 2 are tagged Candi Jones, and 1 is tagged (early) Starina. All are in true vintage, pre-loved condition. This means that all will show attributes typical of garments that are over 50 years old (i.e. color variances, hem fray, small pinholes and/or repairs, missing buttons, lace separations, storage scents, etc.).
Overall this is a beautiful lot perfect for collectors or resellers. Sorry, will not separate.
SUMMARY (in order of the first photo):
Msmts are approximate; all are very small size - perhaps XXS to XS by modern standards:
1) Black & White Butterfly Calico Print Sundress. Candi Jones tag. 30" unstretched; 36" stretched bust / 24" waist unstretched or 31" stretched / 49.5" L. Cotton or cotton blend.
2) Brown calico midi dress w/ belt (no loops). Gunne Sax tag. 32" bust // free hips because of design // 42"L // 13" shoulders flat across // 21"L sleeves. Cotton or cotton blend.
3) Peplum prairie midi dress, navy calico print. Gunne Sax tag. 28" bust / 22" waist / 39.5" L / 12" across shoulders / 22" long sleeves (note: 2 small holes to skirt; hard to notice because of the dark, busy floral print.) Cotton or cotton blend.
4) Oak leaf/acorn rare print halter dress. Gunne Sax tag. 40"L, 26"W across bust area and 24" upper waist. Cotton, no lining. (note: previously altered hemline shows some fray/wear.)
5) Exotic ethnic print midi sundress w/ golden threading and peacock bodice. Early Starina tag. 34" bust / free hips because of design / 38"L from bodice down / 13" shoulders flat across / shoulder tie straps. Semi sheer VERY lightweight.
6) Gothic black floral print maxi sundress. Candi Jones tag. 33"-34" bust / 24" unstretched; 26" stretched waist / 51"L. Semi sheer overlay.
